Dear all,

An on-line survey has opened for anyone wishing to comment on the emerging joint Housing and Homelessness Strategy for Warwick and Stratford-on-Avon District Councils.

The strategy will set out the vision and priorities for housing across South Warwickshire and is looking at the homes and neighbourhoods people live in and the support they might need to find, keep, or move to a suitable home. It will also look at the different types of homes and landlords that are needed.

The five main areas that both Councils think the strategy should focus on are:

  • To deliver a diverse supply of housing to meet local needs
  • Prevention of homelessness and reduction in rough sleeping
  • That homes are safe and meet the decent homes standard
  • Homes are warm and energy efficient
  • To provide exemplary housing and landlord services

We want to hear all views and understand the issues that matter most to our communities. Please share the survey with your residents for their comments and take a few moments to share your thoughts, focusing on the areas that are most important to you.

The survey will remain open until 11 August.

Help us to develop our new Housing Strategy for the next five years
